Bio

Matt Shuler has a passion for music. Growing up, he can remember traveling from place to place to hear
his sister sing and share the gospel of Jesus Christ. It was with her encouragement that he first,
reluctantly stepped in front of a mic. Sparked by the constant support of his Godly parents, Matt’s life
would go on to be filled with many opportunities in music including forming a southern gospel quartet as
a teenager, performing in musicals, singing in churches with his sister, taking a job as lead male vocalist
at a dinner show in Pigeon Forge, and now as a worship pastor in a local church. Matt loves spending
time with all of his family, but cherishes the moments he spends with his beautiful wife (Joni) and
daughter (Maddie), and is most thankful for the Lord putting he and Joni together on a stage at Carson
Newman College in 2004. God’s blessings have flowed through his life and now he lives to encourage
God’s people to carry out the charge in the last verse of Psalms, “Let Everything That Has Breath, Praise
The Lord!”
